James Franco directs Terry Richardson, who directs Lindsay Lohan in R.E.M.'s brand new music video

In a weird turn of events, James Franco directed a music video for (the actually retired?) R.E.M. that also happens to feature a Terry Richardson photo shoot starring Lindsay Lohan. I mean, just imagine these three hanging out: Trying on Terry’s signature glasses, giggling about how annoying Paris Hilton is, trading stories about debaucherous Los Angeles nights. The usual. Lindsay’s posed for Terry quite a few times now, but perhaps this was the photo shoot where Franco was skulking around with his video camera?
