The band played a small venue under the name 'Les Identiks' where they debuted some new material

(WENN) - Rockers Arcade Fire stunned music fans in their native Canada over the weekend by playing a top secret gig under a pseudonym.

The band took to the stage at the tiny Breakglass Studios venue in their hometown of Montreal on Saturday night, but ensured anonymity by appearing on the bill as Les Identiks.

During the gig, Arcade Fire debuted new material, which is reportedly set to appear on the band's fourth album, and the rockers ensured the tracks didn't leak online by banning the 100 gig-goers from using cell phones or cameras throughout the performance.
