Jack White is adding another accolade to his solo career.

The former White Stripes frontman's first album on his own, last year's Blunderbuss, has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America after selling more than 500-thousand copies in the U.S.

The record topped the Billboard 200 when it was released back in April, and more recently snagged a trio of Grammy nominations including Album of the Year.  White marked the latest achievement Monday with a brief post on his website thanking all of his fans for their continued support.
