The SXSW edition of the somewhat fluid lineup will include Grohl, Stevie Nicks, John Fogerty, Rick Springfield, Brad Wilk of Rage Against the Machine, Corey Taylor of Slipknot, and more.
The show is part of Grohl and company's support for the Sound City documentary, and the soundtrack to the film is due to hit stores just a few days before the concert on March 12th.
Meanwhile, the Sound City Players are set to shut down Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles Tuesday. The band is taping a special concert for ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live." The performance will air on Tuesday night's episode of the late-night show, which starts at 11:35 p.m. Eastern.
