In September 1965, The Rolling Stones did four shows in Ireland with a film crew in tow. The resulting footage became Charlie Is My Darling, a documentary that has rarely been seen and has never been widely circulated. It was put together by their first manager and producer, Andrew Loog Oldham. In Oldham's opinion, the camera fell in love with drummer Charlie Watts, which is why he named the film Charlie Is My Darling.
