(WENN) - Slash battled a nasty bout of the flu to take to the stage in Europe of Sunday night.
The Guns N' Roses star is performing across the continent, but fell ill last week.
In a post on Twitter, he told followers:
I am not getting sick, I am not getting sick, I am not getting sick, I am not..... The power of positive reinforcement. iiii]; )'

Slash then dosed himself with medicine to try and overcome his sickness, and managed to recover in time to rock out for fans in Vienna, Austria.
He tweeted:
I'm on an insane amount of drugs. Just not the good ones. iiii]; )'
